What Was Changed

  • 2,088 English text instances across the game's Ink dialogue and on-screen text: each flagged word is replaced in place with a same-length run of asterisks, so a four-letter word becomes ****. No first-character hint is left.
  • Sentence structure, punctuation, line breaks, fonts, and the Ink branching logic are all preserved — only the flagged English words change.
  • Lore-specific exclamations and Latin phrases that happen to overlap with the wordlist were individually reviewed and left untouched, so intentional world-building language is preserved.

What Was NOT Changed

The story, world, tone, and Ink branching are exactly as Christoffer Bodegard shipped them — only the flagged English words change. The audio is unchanged: voiced lines live in an FMOD bank with no viable round-trip path, so they ship as the developer released them. Non-English text is not affected (the game is English-only), and saves and achievements are not modified.
